Sheffield Mencap and Gateway is an independent local charity formed in 1951 by the parents of children with learning disability.

I have chosen a local charity, Ethel Trust Community Barge who offer canal and river experiences to disadvantaged groups in South Yorkshire. Through my job with Sheffield College, I've been on the Ethel Barge with my students who have special needs and always have wonderful trips.
